Display Of My Small Collection
« on: April 03, 2022, 12:59:49 pm »
We live in a city row house with my allotted hobby area already full of toy trains. I had some space under one end of my layout and found a unique low table with casters that fits underneath. It's nice to be able to glance over from my workbench and see the trains and the steam engines.

New acquisition, Arnold, just out of the shipping box. I haven't had a chance to examine it yet. I think it dates to ca. 1950 with the 92 series generator...4097/92/6. It came with the wood plinth and a Maerklin 448-5 lamp attached.

Thanks, Bruce...Actually there are lots of videos of the train layout on my YouTube channel. Have a look when you get a chance.

Beautiful layout Jim. I love the early Marklin trains but never collected them. I have a feeling you'll need to make more space for steam engines!

Wow Jim, that's a really nice layout and collection. I really like the door knob chuff pot.
