FANTASMAGORICAL!!!

Now that is a good word. Thanks Daniel!

Well, actually, it would be a good word, except I misspelled it ..... it actually is correctly spelled with the "F" sound of the letters "PH" ..... Oops!?!?!

Okay .... went back and corrected it in the original post, but left it as "properly" misspelled in the linked quotes, so they still make sense.  ;c)
"Information is not knowledge, Knowledge is not wisdom, Wisdom is not truth, Truth is not beauty, Beauty is not love, Love is not music: Music is THE BEST...
Wisdom is the domain of the Wis (which is extinct). Beauty is a French phonetic corruption of a short cloth neck ornament currently in resurgence..."
F. Zappa ... by way of Mary, the girl from the bus.

At a train show one of my contacts ran into a model railroad guy that bought a substantial train collection that included these. Fast forward I was given the new owner contact info. He was happy to hear from me! I told him what he had and then an agreement was reached. Not much of a story and I was not given any more info because he is still trying to work out a deal on the rest of the train collection.

Guess i was at sea when this thread was posted, since i´ve missed it completely... Better late than never though  :)

What an absolutely amazing haul Gil, congratulations !!!!

I really like that 20, it looks great having those oversized cylinderends, don´t think that i´ve ever seen that before.
The nickleplating is just awesome, and so much better than what´s offered these days.
Cheers

RedRyder.......should you need any help with the rains, let me know and my cousin
would be interested - Staten is no too far from Connecticut.  He is a 70year
train man, has an enormous inventory of new and used parts, and loves to find
new projects and deals.  Although he has had many train items more than once,
pretty much most reasonable priced 'stuff' is in his ballpark.  If we are lucky,
we can get him interested in the hobby (beyond the curiosity factor).

Great catch - beaucoup beautiful items.  How did you manage it, rob a bank?

Congratulations,
Wayne

Thanks, Jan! I too was quite smitten with the high quality nickel plating on both machines and more so with the #20.
A little detail..... The brass tag on the #20 is also the finest original I have ever seen.

Thanks, Wayne! I don't have the trains. I got these Jensen items from the fellow that took on the train collection.
