I wouldn't mind trying building 1 of those super burners is there anything critical like the whole size or is it pretty straightforward obviously the unit has to be sealed on the filler end.

Yes you want the unit sealed and try to have the jet hole the smallest you can make it.
Make sure to pull the fibreglass wick right through to the hole and have a goodly amount coiled up in the tank.

Thank you for the info the smallest drill I have would be a #80 drill but I could easily drill a larger hole then solder it closed and then easily drill an 80 drill size hole through the solder.
