The National Museum of American History

It’s my third visit in 20 years to this amazing place where one can see many of Edison & other scientists amazing inventions.
This time, I took many photos; and will upload few every day. The museum admission is free to visitors from anywhere. I encourage everyone to visit, and support this national treasure if you can. Looks a bit like some of our models ..... only lots bigger!

Nice photos, Mike! We don't get to Washington, DC as often as we would like. Maybe we can visit this museum next time we are in town.

Fantastic photos of truly wonderful machinery!

This place is a must visit.

I saw one of the very few Edison "Mary Ann" long legged dynamos at the Coolspring Power Museum.
