Good tips and tools, Charlie. I like the pocket caliper, very handy.

My only complaint with the dubro benders are the strength. They work fine for brass, but don't expect them to last long if You are working with a thicker copper tubing.

The Xacto tip is good, I've just been using old hacksaw blades for cut-off tools.

You can also visit mscdirect.com for tons of metalworking tools and supplies. They are my go-to, as delivery is quick( I think they are located near Atlanta, Ga) and prices are competitive as is quality.

Agreed on the Dubro benders Benny.

They are best suited for brass. But, that’s what I am mostly dealing with for steam pipes.

Thanks for the tip on mscdirect.com. I will definitely check it out.
