Update of PSE beam engine review.
« on: November 08, 2021, 12:52:22 pm »
I had a chance to run in the engine today for 3hrs with oil added every 15 minutes. It now runs on 7 psi and at a much more realistic slower speed. I even steamed it on my jensen 20 boiler. It ran much longer than before, but did peter out before the boiler ran low.
I will give it another 3 or 4 hrs run in when i have the time. If i can get it down to running on 5psi, i think my jensen 20 would run it properly.

Congratulations.  Sometimes things do work out
the way you hope.  And, it is good news for other
potential PSE buyers.

Good Luck,
Wayne

We know this problem, we have tried various solutions, but thanks to these small holes we are able to imitate the sound of a real steam engine.

If the exit holes were larger, the sound of the running machine would not be so pleasant.

Something for something. Maybe someday we will find a different solution.

Joe, thanks for the nice review. I encourage other users to order their favorite model from us.
