Unbelievable that anyone could do such a thing....and why?

I can only hope they cut the little bastards balls off before they released them, so they will never be able to reproduce their vile DNA within the gene pool !

Alas in the UK today all they will get is a slap on the wrist. We have got to soft with discipline BRING BACK THE BIRCH.

Really sorry for all those poor club members - such a waste! Our club stopped even having an open house years ago due to continued thefts and we even had 8-10 members present all the time so things are about the same everywhere sad to say.

I think their sentence should be to:
  • learn the skills required to build those displays
  • they can start learning during their prison stay
  • re-build them all
  • and, oh yes....  apologize!
  • Be stuck wearing ankle bracelets and on probation until they are done.

Same in NYC.  How about we let Arya Stark or the Hound have a go at them.
Barring that, I go with being forced to repay and rebuild, no matter how long
it takes.  I know they have indeterminate or 'open-ended' sentences in the UK,
so let them work till they drop.  Hit the parents too, for $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
Make an example of them.  No wrist-slap.  Hard work.  Seriously.  If they are
really young there is a slight chance they can be rehabbed and honest work is the
most essential part.  They are very lucky the authorities caught them instead of
the display builders - there might have been a beat-down.
