WATER FEED PUMP - Addition to Hybrid Steam Plant!
« on: September 27, 2024, 05:14:30 pm »
Hey folks,

Today I completed an addition to my Stuart hybrid plant, a water feed pump system by PMR.    This addition allows me to pump water into the boiler from a brass cup which holds about a half of a boilers worth of water. Everything checks out, just have to fix some minor leaks, which is a piece of cake.  This pumps into the water evacuator system I installed earlier in the year which has a siphon tube inside the boiler so I can not only blow it down from the top but also completely evacuate the water.  This is also integrated in with the pump with a bypass needle glove valve.

Let me know your thoughts. Everything works great and I am shocked as to how well the PMR hand water pump works!!
