Halleluja - found this exceptional 2 Cylinder Compound engine in Switzerland.
I never thought to find this rare piece close to my place of residence. The
high pressure Cylinder has 36 mm, low pressure 55 mm, stroke 44 mm. Max power
outlet 1/3 hp. Engine is almost original - color still 99 % - nickel plating little
signs of use. It came together with an original Boiler (very big) Water pump,
Original Petrol pressure burner with 4 Heads and some fittings and pipes.
Have made some photos of the engine - more soon
Have a nice evening and enjoy
Arnold

wow, just wow.
That is a fabulous piece of engineering. I would like to see pictures of the boiler when you get around to it. I am assuming a horizontal fire tube boiler?
Truly a Masterpiece ... I hunger for more photos and info!
Really nice heavy-duty engine--definitely not a toy. Thanks for posting.

My thoughts exactly Brent , this model is NICE ! anticipating the video.
Du meine Güte!!!
A true no-nonsense engine.
Was it meant as a shi's engine for a small boat on Lake Constance, I wonder?
Beautiful model, congratulations!
Applause, applause! Where do you conjure up all these wonderful machines? Great.
Update - today I have made a new cylinder cover of blued steel.
The low pressure cylinder had an unoriginal copper cover that was
bad made. This gave me also the possibility to set the timing
perfectly. Tomorrow I will start with the feed pump - the stuffing
box is missing - i have to make it from scratch.
Have a nice Day, Arnold
nb. have an old Bischoff Catalog with the engine and boiler
