Bassett Lowke Steam Plant
« on: November 27, 2020, 04:23:50 am »
Have made a little Handy Video on youtube:
68000 views within 4 days - it is going trough the roof
it seem there are a lot of model steam fans around the globe

I will add a Stuart Generator (and light) the next days - some people asked what is the use of it?!

Crazy! Your video must have gotten into YouTube’s recommended video section, so be ready for some strange comments from all types of people!  :D

Great to see the engine running  8)

I think Nick has got it right.

After subscribing to your channel, I saw another of your recent videos of a nice Swiss made model, but I was only the 33rd view.

Nice videos BTW.

Hi Trevor - I have seen your BL Plant long before on youtube.
A very nice arrangement with the belt driven Generator and that
special switch. The RPM from the flywheel gets higher than from
the pulley - so you will get up to 4 Volts - I can reach only
about 2,5 Volts - but the Efficiency is not to high - anyway.
Burning Gas to produce heat - to boil water and drive a piston engine
and then a Generator - probably its 1 to 10 ;D  ;D  ;D

I like these british circumstances

Today a short test of the Generator - with a little bulb
current 2,5 Volt under Steam - and it works - Ha Ha ;D
Now I need to find a nice - antic - english Arc Lamp

Happy steaming, Arnold
