Aside from machining them from scratch, is there somewhere to purchase cone pulleys, also known as step pulleys?

Meccano has 3 step pulleys, reproductions are also available, if you have a lathe you can buy quite a bit of brass for the cost of a pair ready made.

What are you wanting them to fit ?

Hi Bruce,

I'd like to fit them on Jensens for sure.  Down the road perhaps Empire, Mamod, or Fleischman.  I also want to create a two- or three-stage speed reduction accessory not unlike the one Empire used to make.

I have a good drill press so I can bore things out a bit if a larger shaft is needed.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul,

Bruce is the best person to work with on these.
Prices fair, machine work excellent.

Thanks Gil.  He comes across to me like that, from watching his YouTube videos.  You're a pretty smart guy yourself!
