Not known to me - an electric steam engine SAB-TOY Mod. 2
Is this american made? Any info's available?

I think that actually says Saf-Toy, so you might want to try looking it up that way.

No doubt made in the era that thought steam was too dangerous for young children, leading to the present day when no one is responsible for their own actions, and learning before doing is considered a pointless waste of time.

So I have to get that little engine and hope
that it will work - the seller asks for 40 $
I think that is acceptable :D

  I have seen a number of the "Saf-Toy" engines over the years, I cannot recall seeing this specific model, but really have not paid much attention to them. But certainly, most that I have seen were in very well-worn condition (or worse), and I have never seen another that was as nice as this one! $40 sounds like a steal.
