Got this engine, just wondering if anyone would know who made it.

Beautiful engine!

Not sure of the make, other than probably built by an excellent home machinist from a casting kit by someone like Cole's, Reeve's, Tiny Power or similar!?!?

Here is another nearly just like yours, that was built by a fellow named Richard Dosdall:
