Maerklin Dynamo with Candelabra
« on: November 14, 2021, 10:52:08 am »
Got this one today. It has the Maerklin Stamp underneath the
wooden board. It was sold as an accessory for steam engines.
It is getting harder to find nice items...
Arnold ;D

Nice accessory. This image is from the Maerklin 1919 catalog.

A relatively longlived accessory, also found in the early 30s catalogues...although the lamppost seems to be different in the late 20´s until early 30´s, where it is named 3391/48/0 or 1 depending on size.
From the early 30´s the larger version seems to be discontinued, as only the smaller version is shown/mentioned.
Cheers

Here's a little engine/dynamo/lamp outfit from the same period.

Thanks but that's not a price tag but my collection number; it was bought in 1997 from the original owner. I also have a photo of him with the engine.
