Rope Drive
« on: March 05, 2022, 05:52:23 pm »
The homemade, copy of the Tiny Power rope drive is finished, except for some pulleys and the "rope" which will be round plastic belting. While most rope drives use the engine flywheel for the large pulley, this one is a stand-alone unit, like the one that was in Milwaukee and driven by a leather belt from the steam engine. For size, the base is 20 inches long.

That turned out really well.  Can't wait to see it belted up to an engine and running.
