Neat find Jim, thanks for sharing  :)

Pretty impressed by the drill, but not all that much new concerning Parken toy steam, eventhough it does surprise me quite a bit, to hear that they still make and sell the engine...according to the blogger.

Should other as i be slightly impaired, when it comes to aussie steam, Tony´s websites here is where i usually dig out my info:

I just got off the phone from a terrific chat with Michael Haussegger (“Pardy” Haussegger's son) and they are making the Parken steam engine again, a run of around 100.

He told me lots of history about his father, the company and how his Dad used to sell them. I have his email address now and will be sending him some info through the day and when I find out more I'll post it up.

That's very interesting Jim .... I've found it is often very worthwhile contacting original sources if you're looking to learn a thing or three.
