Tarot engine machinist plans
« on: March 01, 2021, 07:23:00 pm »
This may well be where china got the design for the Tarot engine. The machinist plans are on eBay for $24....its to bad they did not put the cooling fan and flying ball governor on to!
A clever person could upgrade a Tarot if desired. I have to admit I like the paint on this one. Google "Beamer stirling engine plans" to find it.

This is a very neat Terot engine , I'm onboard up to the cooling fan on something that runs better warmed up.

Yes, the plans state if you hook the belt up to the cooling fan it will keep the RPM at a slow idle.

I'm familiar with the website that's selling Jerry Howell's plans (I bought some before), but never noticed until you pointed it out that the Tarot was one of his designs:

That explains the mysterious hole in the base, it's for the faux ball governor.  The Tarot has to be a 100% copy, minus a few extras.

The Tarot engine looks the same but is slightly smaller in all dimensions.

It would have to be Jerry's plans reduced a bit sans faux governor and fan.
