Mick was doing really well at the Irish version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire, he had already reached 500,000 and had only one more question to answer.
“Which of these birds does not build its own nest, Sparrow, Thrush, Cuckoo or Wren?”
“I’ve no idea.” he replied, “I wish to phone my friend Paddy”.
He called Paddy and was assured the answer was the Cuckoo, Paddy was absolutely positive.
Sure enough that was the correct answer and Mick walked away a millionaire.
A couple days later Mick took Paddy out to the pub to celebrate and mentioned, “ I did not realize you were an expert on the habits of birds.”
“No such thing,” Paddy replied, “Everybody knows Cuckoo’s live in clocks.”
