Thanks, the upright one on the right they used while building the Pyramids maybe.  :)

Nothing beats simple well functioning tools, especially if they can be made at low cost at home.

Great work Lenn - didn't realize there were variations to the basic tool we used in surveying and construction. "Plumb, level and square with the world" is what your tools bring to mind - a good way to live.
