Steve, you deserve an official "atta boy".  Wow, what a mess, but the finished product looked factory fresh...worth the effort, but I know such effort is a huge pain.

Nice job Steve, well done.
I had to laugh, forgetting to fit the boiler band, done things like that myself, just got a perfect soldered joint only to undo to remedy something i'd forgotten and the new joint isn't quite as good.

Hello Rog thanks for that... if you do a job then do it properly my Mother used to say, i have another one coming up soon a Bowman M122 it needs the full treatment as it looks so sad at the moment, i cant wait until it looks brand new....Steve

Hello Keith yes that was very annoying i nearly left that bit out but included it to stop someone else doing the same thing ::)
I was alright re soldering it back as i have done loads of them..practice makes perfect ;D....Steve
