I hear ya Wayne but it is soooo nice looking and then for me to fudge up the finish fixing it (I know I can fix the leak - if it comes to that).  If I have to cross that bridge I will be getting a new hobby torch, the one I have is way to powerful with no fitting to help control a smaller flame.  I saw one hanging at Lowe's that seem really nice with a number of fittings - that might just make for a better job.

Now I am just waiting for Amazon to arrive with my copper - comes tomorrow.  I have everything staged on my desk, so all dressed up and no where to go until Amazon shows up!  ha!

Check out the top of the tank - while I did polish the tank with my paste it was a very light polish effort.  I did not need to scrap the stack or the steam line hole.  The next photo is the tank to front plate seam, I'd be amazed if it doesn't leak under pressure or end up leaking at some point.
