Hey All
I have run across what looks to be a rather amazing machining and build thread on another forum (My Large Scale forum on their Live Steam board). I can think of no other way to share it here than to link directly to it. If there is a problem with that, then please feel free to delete this posting and I'll not be offended in the least. No harm, no foul!
It is a scale model build of a large scale, live steam locomotive, a Southern Pacific AM-2 class articulated engine from the mid-1920's.
Obviously, this machinist is not intimidated by the sheer size and complexity of this build and is doing what appears to be a good job of photographing many of the steps and operations along the path to completion. So far this is quite early in the build, so I would expect this thread to go on for quite some time to come, thus checking back regularly should reveal new postings.
