Baker Fan built out of Erector parts

I thought about trimming these up to get rid of the extra holes, but they were the perfect size, so going to leave them how they are. Will need to strip the paper off the back, but it’s been on there for who knows how long and does not want to come off...

Hey that worked out brilliantly and I really like the working industrial look of it. Looks like the real deal of the full sized ones that I've seen hooked up to tractors at the shows on Youtube.

Now that I know how well this Erector Baker Fan works, I have built a user friendly base for it... off to the hardware store to try and find some mini turnbuckles and a couple springs...

Gives me 50mm of adjustment (yes millimeters :D ) to get the perfect tension on the belt and allows me to take the load on/off while running.

See now, you're enjoying this new found language and how much easier is millimeters than 2"  ;D  :D  ;D  :D  ;D  :D

That mod is pretty darn clever Nick, you will easily be able to test and also best of all visually show the load that the BF puts on any engine....great mod!

@Jim, did you spot the other difference? A different pulley with 2 grooves... They line up perfect with the inside and outside groove of this pulley... Any idea what this red spoked pulley goes on?  ;)  Should I belt it up to the Baker Fan?  ;)

No I missed that small ali drive pulley and I think I know where you're going with this  ;D

That spoked pulley has done more international air travel and been to more countries than I ever will :)
