Heat pushing 6 Blade Self-Powered Wood Stove Top Burner Fireplace Fan bought off eBay last week and came yesterday, works just off the heat of the fireplace and working great to push the warmth around......our little dog gives it a solid paws up 😀

Looks Great!, my small stove fan is Silent, I suppose I might prefer a more powerful unit, even if there was a small hum.
  Is this the start of the heating season in your country Jim? We have Just stopped heating this week in Michigan, it's still a little cool some mornings but by 10:30 AM we open the door and it will be warmer outside.

Thanks guys this is really quiet, zero noise and its just enough to push the air around to our lounge room.
Yes Ben its starting to get cold here, probably not cold by a lot of your standards (certainly not by Nicks!) buy cold for us warm weather dwellers.

This has that bi metal strip on the bottom that someone mentioned in another thread that if the unit gets to hot it bends out and lifts the unit until it cools.
