Great thread, guys. I just found it as I have been extremely busy with my work which has been stressful and somewhat exhausting for the last couple weeks. Charlie you absolutely made the right choice. This morning early I was able to buy toilet paper at our local supermarket. Yesterday morning I managed to get 15 gallons of water at Walmart along with some more paper towels. I don't usually shop for our family but I am the only one who doesn't mind being at a store when they open at 6 am or 7.
My son's wife is sick and the doc doesn't think it's Corona. However, we have been told that if at all sick, as a precaution, we should assume we have it and self quarantine.
Two days ago I went to my office at 7 am to pick up a few things to bring home. I was out before 8 am and before most others arrived. At home I can log into our mainframe and have the same work station I use at the office.
My daughter, who works in a medical office, is taking this less seriously. She believes it is mostly BS and says at work they showed her a webinar that has her believing there have been only 21 deaths world-wide. If this is true, it seems terribly irresponsible of her management. I made it very clear to her that bringing it home is not an acceptable option. I am old enough and obese enough that contracting it could be a most devastating problem. Simone and I have both had pneumonia in years past and it is no fun.
Last night I read that if you have this plague, you should use only tylenol and not any NSAIDS like ibuprofen, naproxen, aleve, and the like. It supposedly amplifies some of the problems. What an insidious bug! Still.... we must prevail.
May God bless and keep you all.
