Cuckoo Clock
« on: February 10, 2021, 08:45:09 am »
Anyone else like them?   I've repaired/restored a couple.  On Ebay it's like anything else, sometimes find some really great deals but some are very dear.  I have three in the home, one is a Quail and Cuckoo which I got on Ebay for an excellent price, circa 1950's.

Dad had one that I claimed as my own and hung in my bedroom. I believe it’s known as the “Hunter” or something similar being it had a deer at the top and two guns crossed together. I would like a larger one where people come out and spin around, not sure my wife would be a fan of it...  :D

I have one cuckoo but prefer my Hermle skeleton clocks...weight driven and single chime on hour...seven day movement...in an air conditioned room I had my best one regulated to less than 3 seconds off per day!
$100-$280 price range
