sounds like they're starting to get a little testy with you Nick, they'll show you, if you don't want it they'll give it to another US buyer (who won't get it either)

I do wish Jin was reading this and would chime in if he has any relation to this Eachine seller as they have more listed on ebay than he, himself does.

I do know it is much more reliable to buy direct from Jin, but I thought I would try my luck this once. I also do not like bidding on Jin's auctions as the bidder identity is set to private. I wish there was a way to buy direct from him...

This is his website Nick -

I'm wondering how they will give my engine to another US buyer if it's already being shipped to my address??

This delivery has really been hit and miss for you Nick.
:)

Do you reckon Nick's carb setting is a bit off, or maybe he doesn't have the right tension on his governor springs, because it looks like this deal has really been miss n miss for him so far .... as if I can talk!?!?

Actually, on mine, I think it is an ignition problem. Either I don't have the points set right, the coil is too weak, or there is a short in one of the leads, so there's just no spark and this deal has yet to ignite.

In any case, it seems that Nick and I are both just spinning our flywheels on these deals so far, and not getting any runtime ... just runaround time!   ;c)

Nick, I got this message this morning
[Quote:Hello friend, the USPS has contacted us for your order (tracking number RV876130360CN ), and there is a small problem for the item. The USA custom said that for this item, we have to do some paper work with them first before we could be able to sell kind of items in USA. So they will hold the item in US stock or return it back to us until the work is done, we will keep the items in the US stock, then we will be able to deliver the item to customers. We have no idea how long will this take, so we have sent you the full refund. If you are still interested in the item, we will inform you when all the work is done with the US customs. We know that this is really inconvenience for you, and it is also bad for us too. These days the US customs make things a little harder for items that comes from China. We are really sorry for the issue and hope you will understand for us. Please accept our dearest apologize. We promise to bring a better service in the future for you!
Kind regards and apologies!
Yours sincerely.

They must be sending mine to you, unless you got the same message.  Something makes me think we were just short term lenders. Good news is my refund will be applied to one of Jin's from his website.

FYI my engine from jzdyy won on 13th has "landed in destination country" while the other won on the 17th from galgig "arrived at regional distribution center". These aren't from microcosm-engine but appear they will have as fast shipping hopefully - maybe they're all relatives and beats getting sorry messages about the Eachine delivery.
Regards,
Larry

Just noted that Jin's most recent eBay relisting is now at a start price of $330, up about $131 from his prior eBay starts, and now at the same price point as his website.

I should point out that Jin seems to list on eBay under three different seller names, which often show slightly different pricing or shipping costs, but actually seem to all belong to our member and friend Jin. All sell the same list of items anyway and do seem directly associated with him.

He is also listing BIN engines. Or at least one- which I promptly bought.

I had one ordered too and received the same message. I already have one, so I am done and now waiting on the vertical.

Benny, I received the same email with a refund. Don't think the seller ever had or shipped my engine...

Kind of annoying that since they cancelled it, ebay won't let me leave feedback

Yes, I should have mentioned that in my prior post. That BIN with free shipping is right at what the most recent auctions have fetched if you count the $30-40 in shipping that was added on those.

So if you've been wanting one of these for a while now ... this BIN offer is probably as good as it will get for at least a while. I think there are still at least a couple of actual auctions of these still up on eBay by Jin, and now that there is a reliable BIN they may not quite reach that level, so there may be something of a bargain to be snatched up yet.

I sure wish Jin had gone with the BIN option a bit earlier on, could have saved a few of us some "interesting" experiences. But perhaps Jin has been reading along on the Forum here, and has taken this action to help relieve our pain !?!?
