Update:

Yesterday I was finally able to speak to an ebay human.

Over a 33 minute call I attempted to present a good case for ebay to reconsider their ruling regarding Jin and his business. The representative took lots of notes and gave me a phone call reference number for use if I speak with them again. She said she would try to get the notes in front of the right eyes.

I am hopeful yet still skeptical.

Well I just made a purchase from Ol Jin for the first time today. Everything he had on eBay/DE is there
until you click on it. Then it says not available. Over here it still is so I bid on a Rider Ericsson,
a red one and won it, and paid for it. Time will tell what I get, it was cheap.

My only witnessed experience with Jin was not live steam related; only because I collect vintage steam. A friend at the weekly Asian market in Philadelphia, PA had one of his commercial juicing machines gears damaged with broken parts. He remembered Jin’s username on ebay where he bought the $900 juicer. Jin responded by listing the part on ebay with BIN for $50 including shipping. It arrived in 48 hours from China. How this fast, I have no clue.

Is it possible your friend told jin he needed the part super fast and Jin acommodated him by including the shipping cost into the purchase price for 2nd day delivery.?

@RedRyder
It’s very possible Gil; the package was delivered by Fedex, and it had all the stamps & markings that it was dispatched from China. My friend was able to get back in business with no delay at all; which is amazing!
What I wanted to say is that this vendor (Jin) went out of their way, allowing the purchase of a machined part that they don’t sell by itself in order to accommodate a buyer, and they did that so quickly at a very cheap price. It also appears to me that this vendor (Jin) is more than just a model engines maker; but has a wide range of product offerings.

I placed that order with Jin for the Rider Ericsson engine on April 22nd and it showed up today
on April 30th. Just 8 days, but it didn't come from China. Came from Lincoln Nebraska. Huh?
