Homing Snake
« on: April 02, 2021, 05:13:34 pm »
This 8 foot Diamond Python was in my sons rabbit hutch (rabbit lucky) a week ago and was rehomed in the bush about a kilometre away.

A week later it was back this time in the pigeon loft (one pigeon not so lucky) this time its been rehomed about 4 kilometres away.

I wonder if it will take 4 weeks to come back this time :)

If I get a hold of it, it ain't leaving. Make a hat band out of it.
Are you sure it's the same one? Some times you have to mark them to
make sure that it is. Like a shovel or a hatchet behind the head.

It's a beaut to be sure, and thanks for trying to re-home it elsewhere!

I'd say you may want to try adding a zero onto that distance figure if you can .... it might work better. ;c)

Guessing he doesn’t have a rodent problem?  :D

Had to Google them to see that they are not harmful snakes.

Not poisonus these ones, a beautiful snake (though still hiss and will try and bite). They are constrictors and will eat pretty large prey.

Some google pics

Well, then I'll be careful and never spend the night in your rabbit hutch, pigeon house or garden shed. I would never be a beautiful hatband. 😂😜

Oh come on, don't be like that. Heck I bet I could get a belt and a pair of boots too.
Don't you worry, everything will look real good when I'm done. Belly button up front
and the crack out back.  :D

what's that snake eating ?

When those pythons get big Bruce they'll take a Ring Tail possum (pictured) or a Brush Tail possum. Always a worry as our small dog is a lot smaller than one of those possums.
