I saw this in a Milestone Upcoming Auction Today.  What a fascinating story.

That is WAY cool, I want that watch but I know I can't afford it.

@txlabman - I say sell off some of your engines and buy the watch ;-)

It is amazing that the Stalag  commandant didn't confiscate it for himself, no one could have stopped him, he must have been a man of character & honor & respect. I am in awe !

This is an absolutely amazing story.

The history surrounding this Rolex is a truly great treasure.
