So Lenn ... can you give us the story on the rotating wind machine structure in the last photo?
"Information is not knowledge, Knowledge is not wisdom, Wisdom is not truth, Truth is not beauty, Beauty is not love, Love is not music: Music is THE BEST...
Wisdom is the domain of the Wis (which is extinct). Beauty is a French phonetic corruption of a short cloth neck ornament currently in resurgence..."

Built the windmill about 35 years ago at another place we used to live, it had a feed grinder in the bottom.
The top rotated to point into the wind, worked pretty well until a storm tore the blades off it.
Just one of those things i always wanted to build.  :)

Thanks fellers and neat pictures Nick keep them coming.  8)

As i look back at building the windmill i wonder how we accomplished some of the stuff we made, i used a rear end from a truck for the main shaft ran a drive shaft off that to another gear box that changed direction so i could run a flat belt too the burr mill.
How we got all that stuff up there is beyond me let alone building the structure that turns around, couldn`t do it now thats for sure.
