Picture sizes
« on: March 06, 2019, 10:15:16 am »
Whats the best size for posting pictures ? I've posted some on Jims 'Our dogs' thread but they come up smaller than on other forum.

Roughly 800x600 is good for any forum

Your images in the dog thread came through as the "end-of-post expandable thumbnails", if you click on them when viewing the post they will get larger.

When attaching an image from this:

you have the option to choose how you want it to appear on the forum  ;)

"inline full size image" will probably give the result you were looking for

Thanks Pete for asking the question, as I was also wondering the same.

Thanks Nick for answering the question, especially the picture size.

I do have to admit though, I really like the large pictures you posted that show up small in the forum post, but can be clicked and really zoomed in on.

I personally find the "end-of-post expandable thumbnail" is a more pleasant browsing experience.
