In Nov. 2022, I purchased via eBay a "restored" Jensen 50...turned out to need a bit more restoration!
My appreciation to Bruce of SPS who machined a handful of new parts to replace worn or missing bits. His handwork will be shown in Part C.
Having just finished this project, I will share the process via three parts...this is Part A...mostly the refinishing steps.

Engine as received...not bad looking, though the color scheme was wrong for a mid-1960's engine

check tomorrow for Part B
Very, very NICE!!!
These wonderful machines are always soooooo very deserving of careful restoration!
I am drooling already Roger...and so very happy to once again be able follow a project-thread from ToS again!
I think i might have worn out, all previous threads and movies from the Temple of Steam completely, during the last couple of years
Very nice to see it being restored the right way
