Jensen Model 100 "Blue"
« on: May 19, 2021, 09:19:11 am »
I have always wanted a Jensen Model 100 Workshop with Blue Base and got one off eBay back in 2020. It is mechanically complete no physical damage, paint on the machine shop tools was poor, the base was in surprisingly good condition. I cleaned up the base with a simple wipe down using mineral spirits with a bit of extra rubbing in a spot or two. The machine tools where disassembled using a small Arbor Press, diecast parts subject to paint stripper, multiple applications, the bronze plated pulleys and bits polished, re-painted using Rustoleum Sun Rise Red and carefully pressed the shafts and pulleys back into the machine tools. Enjoy the Youtube clip.

A fine job,  that was a fair amount of work.

Very nice! In addition to the beautiful drive models, the power of the Wilesco steam tractor / crane should be noted.

Really nice #100 restoration. You did some great work there.

Also a treat to see 2 #100s belted up and your D405 looks superb!

Thanks for sharing it all here.
