1/4” compress female to 1/4-40 male

• 1/4” compress female to 1/4-40 male

• So I am wanting to run the 1/4” compression fitting which uses a female attachment on top of the Jensen boiler, and union or run it down to 1/4-40 UST, for PM research piping.
  
  Can anyone help me figure out what I need?  I have searched for 1/4” compression threading to 1/4-40 but can’t get clear answers.

  However, the Jensen threads are 5/16-24,  this is 5/16-27…. I’ll try it. It’s only a few bucks. [ Guests cannot view attachments ]

• since the threading is 27 tpi & NOT 24 tpi, you'll ruin the threads in the Jensen boiler if you force it in.

  Well, damn.   I can’t believe it is that close to what’s needed.     Any idea what I need in order to achieve what I am seeking?
