Looks a little small for a reservoir, or even a boiler for that matter. As a chuff pot, I'd consider putting your steam entrance nipple low on the chimney with a hook pointing down into the main body of the "pot". I think your chances of significantly enhancing the chuff are best served that way, but it is probably something of a crapshoot as to whether you actually gain anything or not?!?!
