« on: March 31, 2020, 09:00:17 pm »
I built a few carriages for the Bohm Rocket.
Still a work in progress, tender is next.

Nice carriages on a fun engine to run.  Looking forward to seeing your progress.

Thanks, I hope to get a better picture in daylight, The Bohm pulls them without a problem.
Next is a little tender with a barrel.

Thanks guys,
A long coach on such a tight radius was not practical so I was going for more of a Dewitt Clinton style coach.

They look just fine. I have the Dewit Clinton in HO and all they were is stage coaches with steal wheels. Yours look just like them.
Are you going to stain them or paint them?

Thanks, I haven't decided about painting or staining, maybe a little of both.

So I knocked together a little tender for the Rocket, I still have to make an appropriately sized barrel.
The carriages are all exactly the same size but they look like they get bigger toward the back, it must be the curve of the track.

Here's a short video of it under Stir.

I doubted that engine was very powerful....but it pulled that string of 4 carriages right along.  :)

Actually a pretty good puller  :)
The tender and three carriages weigh about two and a half pounds combined, The engine itself weighs just over two.
