This governor body has a throttle wheel at the top.
I turned it without effect and the throttle wheel
came off in my fingers. Already broken. And, I think
the business end of the throttle needle-valve is still
in there. I think this is not helping the engine to
run.
So, I'd like to take the top throttle fitting off but it
seems almost impossible. I tried painting the seam many
times with alcohol, then acetone, but it is still stuck.
I tried heating it with a soldering iron, but no joy. I
can always remove the governor and run it but the governor,
which works, is one of the reasons I bought it.
Hmmm. Any ideas that don't involve brute force?
I added a photo and diagram
Thanks,
