Anyone any idea why you can only add 1 picture at a time... when you go to add more it wipes the message out..

There´s a "more attachments" option, that makes it possible to ad several pictures to one post, found right below the initial one John.

...and thanks for taking us through the details of your build, a very interesting project indeed  :)

I've kicked my self loads of times I never got the milling attachment, I brought mine from Axminster Power Tools in 1996, shortly after Inca was sold to an investment Co that scrapped everything all the spares went in a skip 😥

Turned up a couple of sets of spacers for the chain sprocket wheels, then machined out a section on the inner face of the outter wheel to clear the nuts on the stud....

Turned up a couple of spacer discs for the trailing pair of wheels to the keep the chain in line

A parcel arrived from Clevedon Steam with one of their twin cylinder oscillating Virgo Paddle engine kits, this will be the engine to drive through a gearbox and chain drive etc. Once I've built the kit, might be a slight lull in construction at the mo as I have a shed load of traction engine parts to prep and ship out next.

Picked up the boige castings this week and bored them out to fit the meccano axles, then built a bench jig to build the boige and set up the chassis on.

Lastly dismantled a pair of chain sprockets to mount the sprocket as a paired set on one boss for the main drive from the gearbox.
