Good PM from Brooklyn...

  Regarding steam line lagging.  Has anyone tried using
cotton cord, say 1/8" (sash cord), as lagging?  It does
insulate ....some.  I did cover it with aluminum sticky
tape. 

  So, I'd like some lagging that works a bit better without
looking fat and out-of-proportion when on these steam lines.

  Is it me or does this lagging make the steam line look fat?
It's ok, you can be brutal.
