I know everyone has their favourite product, but CRC TAC-2 for me is just absolutely brilliant and lasts and lasts.
Really quietens down the gear noise

That webbing effect is really cool to see. Looks like some good stuff... would it also be good to use on scale traction engine gears?

I've been using steam oil on these as it clings, and the previous owner of my 2" said they used vaseline

It would look good that's for sure webbing on those open gears Nick.
It wouldn't put any extra load on the engine.
In the USA its available on Amazon.
