Should be able to pick up a brand that does the same thing in a hardware store (or eBay) Bruce.
When you sand dried varnish or paint off wood using your belt sander, do you know how that gums up the grit and it gets that glazed gummed up deposit? The rubber will strip that straight off.

That all very well Jim but us  cheapskates just use a piece of alkathene water pipe 
Low density polythene pipe ‘ us farmers have it everywhere

It does not dust .
Because of the speed it tends to melt
