Wilesco 409 Traction Engine
« on: January 03, 2026, 02:06:20 am »
After 26 years, the Siteglass gasket sprung a leak upon inspection. It seems that way back then the cab is riveted and there is no way of getting to the lower screws aside from disassembling the whole engine. Is there an easier way of replacing the gasket? On a previous search, I saw where a gut made a big round hole above the tow bar. I see no point in that. I did search high and low on the internet but found only that solution. This is maintenance. I would have thought by now there would be more info on this.Any info on this would be appreciated.                               Thank you.[/i][/i]
