Over the last few years l have been distracted on other projects, namely, renovating classic bmx bikes, a trick l came across with bringing chrome to life, basically, scrunch tin foil up and dip it in white vinegar and gently rub, l was amazed at how well this works. Anyway, if it works on handlebars it may work on all chrome, below is a picture of a bmx l picked up that had a pebble dash of surface rust and oxidization, the bmx is a 1999 Haro Dave Mirra 540 Air, and yes l still ride them at the tender age of 53, get some strange looks

Foil also works for battery terminals that have become corroded. Essentially scrunched up foil is an abrasive (nice small sharp bits) while also been soft enough not to damage the surface.

Magpie, what's the longest frame length do they make? From post to steering head... The last time I road one, I was in my mid 30s, it was fun!
