Copper Hammers from re-purposed old socket wrenches
Made a couple of different sized copper hammers from some solid copper off cuts that I
had laying around the shed and from some junk find old socket head wrenches.

Clever use for some cheap, old ratchet handles
Grand job Jim, you cant beat homemade.
Excellent upcycling Jim.
Good creative use of some bits lying around in the shop.
I like people who don't throw away good junk.
Thanks guys, its rare that I throw anything away

If you haven't got an solid copper bar (which isn't all that common to have laying around) copper plumbers pipe filled with molten lead is easy to do to make a nice heavy copper/lead hammer.
You can leave it as is or solder/braze copper end caps on it.
Brilliant Jim, I think I will make up a couple of those as I have the parts in the junk bin.

Of course, if you're like me, you judt pick one up at a yard sale. Amazing what people don"t want.
