Digging is required for MN homes since foundations are required below frost level. So if you are digging a hole...

I like to think my shop is at 125% space utilization, but I think you are pushing 200%.
Outdoor work spaces are a great idea. On a whim I installed an outdoor table with a nearby receptacle and I use it all the time. Should have did that years ago.
