Looks like a wonderful place to spend some time .... a visual feast !

Not as big as NAMES or Cabin Fever, but there's plenty of full-size equipment to make up for that. I have a video of their scale railroad to edit and upload too...

This is one of the shows I hope to display at soon as they are one of the few that will allow running toys and models on steam  8)

We could talk Chris and Bill (CBWho and AirSpyder) into displaying with us and double the size of "Miniatureland"  ;)

That's a very nice looking railroad, I forgot they have that.  If I visit next summer, I can bring a locomotive to run, I will check it out with them.

John Barklow is who I talked with about displaying at the show, I believe his dad was one of the founders of "Miniatureland". I ended up helping them setup some stuff 2 years ago, but could only attend Friday morning for a couple hours and last year we had a baby 2 weeks before the show. We went one day as a family, but only for a couple of hours, the baby was not happy  :D

When I asked on their facebook page for John's contact information, I was given this:

Hi Nick, You can contact Mike or Julie Bluhm and they can get you in touch with John. Mike and Julie Bluhm, 46167 Jefferson Lake Dr., Cleveland, Mn. 56017 Phone: 507-934-5841 (Home); 507-327-4927 (Cell) email: julieb5841@gmail.com

Any idea what manufacturer is the hot air engine at 3:50? Maybe one part is homebuilt?

Nick, I'm more of a spectator at those shows... ;)

I am clueless on that one...

I have never displayed at a show yet, but they are getting smaller and smaller every year and there wouldn't be a show without exhibitors  ;)

Most shows I've been to, they cut chunks off and give to the kids. They make good shoe laces  ;)
