Ball Top Monitor belted to a Water Pump
« on: August 05, 2025, 03:04:34 pm »
Mine arrived this morning.

Nick inspired me to belt it to something.  I tried an old steam toy, but the pully ratio made it run way too fast.  I tried a water pump that I usually run with a 1/2 scale of a 1/2 HP New Holland.  I was surprised that ran the pump, even more surprised that pumped water. It struggles but has the power, bet after some time it might pull it better.  Used Coleman fuel, needle at just a bit less than 1/2 turn.

AWESOME!! Will have to try mine on the water pump… I do have an accessory lined up for tomorrow’s run that I think should make a great pairing…
