After many hours down the workshop here is the largest carette vertical ever :)

That's way bigger than any vertical I have ... heck, it look's to be half the size of my water heater!!!   ;c)

Dan that is a beast of an engine and beautiful at the same time. I like the colour and the markings on the engine and she runs nicely.

Not sure how many there are out in the wild I know of 4 myself.
Each engine is marked with a number the highest number I have seen is 15 so far so there must be at least that many made , but how many survived I don’t know :p
Mine is mostly number 15 but with an engine from number 11 as the boiler was not in great condition. I sold the spare boiler as I don’t have the time to restore 2 of them 😄

I do favor the "bigs" & that is a nice BIG engine, I really like the mechanical sound she makes while running, thanks for showing.

Was yours missing the engine? or beyond repair?

It was missing the engine luckily got another one that had a bad boiler and made one out of the 2 :)
