Generations of Jensen #15 Generators
« on: May 09, 2020, 07:48:07 pm »
Hi folks, here we have a sampling of Jensen generators, starting with the oldest on the left, to the latest offering that Jensen still makes , I am missing the little plastic shell dynamo generator that  they came out somewhere in the 1990's....and maybe one other . all but the oldest have been modified to now be a transmission with (2) 5 tired pulleys & an on/off switch, the aluminum base models also have ball bearings installed.

Show us your Jensen Generators  :)

Nice collection Bruce! I am missing that first one   and the painted aluminum base (one just sold on ebay a couple weeks ago)

I've been wanting to take a family photo of all my 15's, but haven't gotten around to it yet... I have 3 variations of the Meccano plastic, the Israeli 85 and the copper colored one have the same shape and the stand-alone black is a different shape

There is also the anodized blue aluminum base

and the 1951 Omega

A very nice collection Nick, I knew about the Meccano plastic Genny's (there is one on eBay right now with a Jensen #75) ,the omega I had forgotten about, & then Yes, there is the blue anodized base BL that steamer J created for Jensen. I don't necessarily collect Generators but just had an abundance & thought I would shoot a quick video of them.

Looks like Jack is in the lead on the ebay Meccano one.

If you look at my last picture, I have 2 variations of the anodized blue base, one is John Loughner's BL and the other is just a basic style 15.

Being you don't necessarily collect generators, how about you send that early one off to me  ;) :D :D

Thanks for posting all the Jensen Genny pics Bruce, Nick and Gil.

Looks like a good theme for Cabin Fever next year.

I think I have 12.

2 Jensen 50s, the Jensen 51, 6 Jensen 10s (all different), and three stand alone—a modern silver, dark blue and light blue.
